Position Summary

ShuBee is looking for a detail-oriented E-commerce manager to oversee the day-to-day maintenance and administration of ShuBee’s E-commerce marketplaces. They will perform a range of IT, marketing, and website development tasks to ensure functional platforms that represent ShuBee’s brand that users can navigate easily. They respond to security issues and troubleshoot and resolve a variety of website performance issues. The E-commerce Manager will ensure the website has accurate and current domain and hosting information to prevent potential downtimes.

The E-commerce manager is responsible for managing all aspects of a website as well as any third-party websites ShuBee has products listed on. They may help create and manage blog posts, images, reviews, videos, and web pages. They will direct and/or assist with creating new content for the website as well as auditing its existing content to identify areas of improvement. Similarly, the E-commerce managers will help with search engine optimization (SEO) efforts to promote the website's presence and increase web traffic. As well as PPC and all ad campaigns to drive traffic to our platforms to convert.

The ideal Website Manager will have an excellent knowledge of various types of technology, software, and computers. They will have exceptional verbal and written communication skills and collaborate with various departments to make sure the website presents accurate and complete data. The E-commerce Manager will be responsible for the growth of ShuBee’s website revenue with a strong focus on net new business.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, implement, manage, monitor, and update website & 3rd party platforms
  • Align the website with the organization's brand, strategy, and standards
  • Audit content and remove duplicate information
  • Optimize content for conversion and usability
  • Look for opportunities to improve the user experience for clients with a customer service focus
  • Complete tests to ensure website efficiency and quality
  • Assist Marketing Manager with Marketing campaigns and other marketing efforts
  • Create strategies to improve website traffic with a focus on net new business and nonbranded target campaigns
  • Develop website content to support organizational goals and strategies
  • Ensure the website complies with the appropriate laws and regulations
  • Evaluate competitors' websites
  • Follow industry best practices
  • Identify ways to improve website user experience
  • Implement security measures to protect websites
  • Keep the website's domain and hosting registration current
  • Manage pay-per-click and search engine optimization campaigns and/or third-party contractors
  • Monitor for website security breaches and respond to them as needed
  • Manage sitemaps that represent and visualize the website's structure and functions
  • Reply to, troubleshoot, and resolve website issues
  • Update and maintain website versions and plugins as needed
  • Compile reports for the Executive team showing results

 Requirements

  • A degree in digital marketing, computer science, web development, IT, systems engineering, or a similar field
  • 2 years of work experience as a website manager
  • Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of WooCommerce, WordPress, Adobe suite, Content Management Systems
  • Proficiency in HTML, XHTML, CSS design, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Access, mySQL and JavaScript looked highly upon
  • Great understanding of Search Engine Optimization and Paid Per Click
  • An understanding of user and market research
  • Ability to troubleshoot website issues in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent content creation and writing skills
  • Fantastic time management skills with the ability to multi-task

Salary: $60K-80K (based on experience)
