The Spark That Started It All
Our story began more than 40 years ago with our CEO and Partner, Steve Stone. As a plumbing business owner, Steve quickly realized the shoe covers available at the time weren’t built to handle real job-site demands. They simply couldn’t stand up to work boots—or real-world conditions.
That frustration sparked an idea.
Working out of their mother’s garage, Steve and his brother Mann designed a better solution. The result was the ShuBee® Original Shoe Cover—a product engineered specifically for professionals. After selling his plumbing business, Steve officially launched ShuBee® in 2000.
What began as a single solution has since grown into a comprehensive line of professional protection gear trusted nationwide.
