How Our Story Became a 25-Year Legacy

Over 40 years ago, our CEO and Partner, Steve Stone, saw that true professionalism meant protecting every home his team entered. When he required his plumbing technicians to wear shoe covers, he quickly realized the options on the market couldn’t withstand a work boot. So Steve and his brother Mann began designing their own—working out of their mom’s garage to create what became the ShuBee® Original Shoe Cover. After Steve sold his plumbing company, ShuBee® officially launched in 2000. What started with one product has grown over the last 25 years into a full line of protection gear—gloves, floor protection, coveralls, and more—built specifically for service professionals. Today, as we celebrate 25 years, our mission stays the same: Provide dependable protection products backed by exceptional customer service.
