Trimaco’s Heavy Duty E-Z Up® Dust Containment Poles work with plastic sheeting to create a dust barrier on the job site.
What makes our dust containment poles different? No loose parts that break or go missing, extra durability, and easy setup. The heavy-duty aluminum poles are available in three heights – 12ft, 16ft, and 20ft – and the 12ft poles come in convenient kits. Simply clip plastic onto the quick clip and adjust the pole to ceiling height. The unique foot pedal ensures a snug fit. You can even use the Trimaco E-Z Up Zipper to create an instant doorway in and out of the workspace.
How to build a Dust Containment System
- Determine how large of a space you’ll be containing to determine how much plastic sheeting you’ll need. It’s best to use one single sheet of plastic rather than multiple pieces.
- Measure the height of your ceiling and decide which height pole is best suited for your job.
- Once you have your plastic sheeting and poles, it’s time to make the enclosure.
- Clip the plastic onto the quick clip, place the plastic over the top grip pad, and raise the pole to the ceiling height.
- Use the foot pedal to ensure a snug fit.
- Once you have a secure plastic sheeting wall, decide where you would like to add an entryway.
- Using Trimaco’s E-Z Up Zipper stick the zipper onto the plastic sheeting. Un-zip the zipper and cut the plastic with a box cutter.
