While the doom and gloom reporting standards of the media continue to bombard us, it seems that more and more of the general population are buying into their negative opinions.
Not all hope is lost, there is a silver lining to the media’s clouds of economic and flu-infested misery. I have always believed something good comes out of everything bad and these times are no different.
Over the past year, we have seen poorly run companies fold while others are thriving. What could possibly be good about companies struggling or going out of business? Everything.
In reality, this “economic meltdown” is the best thing to ever happen for American business. It has forced companies to evaluate how they operate and made them look for ways to become more efficient; trim the fat and focus on the meat of their business.
Those businesses that successfully do this are ensuring themselves a bolder and brighter future when the economy becomes more stable. The lessons learned in these times are the most valuable of all the business management lessons we can learn. As the tide turns, these businesses will become more profitable than they ever dreamed possible.
One of the key factors in securing success through these times is to understand that cutting the marketing budget is foolish. Now is the time to take the extra steps to crush your competition through better branding and stronger advertising to gain so much of the market share that that the other guys goes out of business.
It has been proven countless times by numerous companies; the ones who get more aggressive in tougher times do better in the tough times than in “good” times. This is primarily because in good times business is easier and companies do not have to run their business efficiently and they still survive despite poor business practices.
What we are experiencing is the rise of the cream – the objective now is to not only rise but stay there. Our mission at ShuBee is to help your company rise to the top, seize the moment and crush the competition.
Together we will not only survive but thrive. Bust through that cloud and claim your silver lining.
